Daily Log

July 30, 1979

Excavation was completed inside Rectangle 19 to a depth of 70 cm this morning.  Below 70 cm, a gravelly yellow soil begins - equivalent to the virgin soil level between the east and west defense walls of the agger.

In final analysis, the room contained very little pottery, all of which was well broken and no profiles were preserved.  Numerous fragments of Upper Building architectural terracottas were recovered from the southern half of the room.
