11 July 2022 AM: The morning began with a pick pass in the northern end of Locus 1. The soil was medium brown, compact, and sunbaked clay. There were inclusions of terra cotta tile, pottery, small stones, and bone. Plaster was also prevalent. There was also sings of burning, including carbon and vitrified terra cotta. The soil and inclusions remained consistent. The soil and inclusions remained consistent with earlier in the morning. Notable was the copious presence of plaster and two bucchero fragments one of which was a body sherd and the other a rim fragment. The soil was very dry, clumpy, sunbaked clay and medium brown. Inclusions were present of tile, pottery, bone, plaster, and limestones of medium size which were left in place.
