Monday, June 12  Morning-Afternoon

The west wall of the Upper Building in R10 was uncovered and brushed down; the areas previously excavated in 1976 (DE/2 and D/E 3/4, see MF bk. I ) were again cleared of plants and debris. The finds from this area, a few pottery fragments, were inconsequential. This thus completed the excavation of the west wall of the Upper Building from R6 through R11.
