AM

Work continued defining the northern and southern faces of the T-22 west extension and the western face of T-22.

A piece of plaster was discovered with what appears to be a reed impression while cleaning the baulk wall along the northern face of the T-22 west extension.

PM

While cleaning the top of the T-22 west extension for pictures, a rocchetto fragment and a tooth were discovered, it is presumably from scraping off the top erosive material of either the presumed areas of T-91, T-92, and T-93, however, due to uncertainty of the confines of the trenches and the section which they may have derived, they are being defined as supplemental finds. Coordinates and elevations were taken from the areas which they were recovered.

Supplemental find: Rocchetto fragment #41

26.78 m.AE

48.63S/ 169.01 E

Supplemental find: tooth #42

26.78 m.AE

48.20S / 168.40 E

The confines of T-91, T-92, and T-93 were established and trench lines drawn up. The area for T-92 are set as following for a 3 meter by 3 meter trench, over which some of the area overlaps with the T-22 west extension to ensure that the baulk walls and erosive materials were all encompassed within the confines of the trench.

NW (46 S / 168 E)

NE (46 S / 171 E)

SE (49 S / 171 E)

SW (49 S / 168 E)

While cleaning debris and erosive materials from the top of T-92 (from the areas originally excavated for the T-22 west extension before the areas of the trench were narrowed) to prepared for opening photographs of the trench, a piece of slag was discovered. However, the origin of this item is unknown within T-92 and a range of elevation and coordinates were taken.

Supplemental find: Slag #43

26.60-27.89 m.AE

46-47 S / 168 – 170 E
