Box 6 Small Box 2: 5 teeth

1. Gently without pressure rubbed teeth with pin vice to remove dirt
2. Brushed teeth with PVA solution (15% in volume) - let dry and did the same to the opposite side

Box 5 Bone A: Lisa looked at the fragments to see if any could be joined and found nothing.

E. Nielsen found 2 which joined. Treated those pieces with PVA emulsion (brushed on) and let dry.

Tamaria Mams found a possible join.

Box 6: checked earth for more bone or bone fragments - interrupted, so still have more to go through.

Box 6 Bones 1 and 2: With photo in place as a guide, began to excavate them from the earth.

1. Wet soil (with water-alcohol solution which is no longer 50:50) to soften the area between the two bones to facilitate separation. Many rootlets.
2. Separated the 2 bones.
3. Bone 2 (top bone in photo): (a) has many tiny fragments; (b) treated with PVA emulsion (15% by volume) - painted on - let dry - repainted
4. Bone 1 (lower bone in photo): (a) continued to define edges; (b) tried to clean with alcohol but the bone disintegrates easily; (c) decided to do in sections using pin vice to remove dirt carefully, then paint on the PVA emulsion (15% by volume), let dry and then continue*
5. Small Box 2: teeth - brushed again with PVA solution (15% in volume) and let dry
