Opening elevations were taken because work was cut short the previous day. Elevations were:
- A: 115 cm B.D. (27.826 m AE)
- B: 103.5 cm B.D. (27.945 m AE)
- C: 108.5 cm B.D. (27.895 m AE)
- D: 103.5 cm B.D. (27.945 m AE)
- E: 109 cm B.D. (27.89 m AE)
The pick pass from the previous day was completed and a new pick pass begu. Soil continued to be sorted in the wheelbarrow. There are no noticable soil changes. After te pick pass was completed, the remaining half-hour before lunch was spent lowering the corners and the area surrounding a large stump in teh middle of the trench.

Another pick pass was completed with no noticable soil changes. Closing elevations were taken.
