Meters 50S 164E and 51S 164E were taken down to about 53 cm bd an average level with the cut started on July 14 2000. The trench floor was leveled and a new locus was defined. Locus 3 characteristically light to medium brown soil with white particulates and carbon flecks throughout.

Another cut was started in maters 50S 167E and 51S 167E which took these two meters down to about 63 cm bd.

The cut continued in meters 50S1 167E and 51S 167E. The floor of those 2 meters were leveled and the cut was extended into meters 50S 166E and 51S 166E. This area was cleared and the floor was leveled by the end of the day. 1/4 cassette terracotta was found in Locus 2 today and 1/4 latte box of pottery. Locus 3 yielded 3/4 casette terracotta and 1 latte box pottery.
