AM
Work continued trimming the baulk wall of the original T22 west ext trench. Meters 50S 165E and 51S 165E were taken down to 50 cm bd level with the cut made on July 7 2000. Another cut was made in maters 50S 167E and 51S 167\xa3 which brought the level in this area around 61cm bd. One special find was made.
PM
The floor of the trench was leveled and carbon has become evident in the soil. Another cut was made in meters 50S 166E and 51S 166E which brought these meters down to 60 cm bd. 2/3 cassette terracotta was found and 1 latte box of pottery.
