The sling shot stones in F/6 were lifted after being drawn and photographed. They number one hundred and twenty three. The floor surface they rested upon contains flecks of carbon here and there and a small stone packing covered with soil apparently as a slight pavement. The south wall was cleaned down to #2 grid on the south side. To the north in grids E-F/2-3-4, the workmen began excavating the stone fall in order to uncover the north flank of the south wall and its junction with the east wall. A very large nugget of copper - unworked - was found during this process.
