The stone fall in grids 2-4-5/E-F was lifted, revealing the north flank of the southern wall and the preserved top surface of the wall was cleaned down. In grids F-G/2, the wall is approx. 1.5 m wide and narrows slightly near the junction with the east wall. The east face of the east wall is poorly preserved in the E adn F grids, though the west flank of the east wall preserves the stone facing nicely in these grids. In order to preserve a safe foundation for the boulder resting on the wall in E and F, the west face of the east wall was not cleaned down further.
1.5 meters to the south of the south wall in grids H,I/6-7, a line of stones running east-west may indicate a secondary southern wall. A heavy stone packing impedes at present excavation in the area.
The junction of the south and west walls was also cleaned down. Only the interior corner is well preserved between these walls.
Finally, the west face of the east wall was cleaned down in the A grid so that the profile can be drawn correctly.
