Work began by completing the pickpass initiated on Friday, June 25; the southern half of the trench was picked. Soil was a darker, yellow-brown and continued to be shoveled directly into the wheelbarrow and sorted there.
Another pickpass was initiated, starting in the northern half of the trench. While making this pickpass, a possible statue fragment was found (Find 1) and the area around it was troweled down in order to find possible other pieces. While troweling, some remaining pieces of the statue fragument were found, as well as a possible second statue fragment (Find 2).
Once the area was clean and the pieces were collected, the half a pickpass was completed. While picking, patches of galestra-like soil began to appear in the same soil layer. This pickpass continued to be shoveled directly into the wheelbarrow and sorted there.

The pickpass was completed and another pickpass was begun, with dirt being shoveled directly into the wheelbarrow and sorted there. There continued to be fairly high concentrations of pottery and bone, and soil remained the same. During this pickpass, an unusual piece of terracotta was also found (Find 3). Closing elevations were taken.
