Excavation continued in locus 5.  Pick pass started in the western end of the trench.  Patches of mottled soil are beginning to appear containing orange, black and white inclusions.  Three special finds were made this morning.

Excavation continued in locus 5.  The pick pass started in the morning was completed.  Patches of mottled soil are appearing.  The trench was lowered approximately 5 cm.  Today, approximately 5 1/2 bowls of terracotta fragments were recovered consisting for the most part of small pieces and plaster fragments.  Approximately 2 latte boxes of pottery sherds found along with 8 pieces of coarse ware.  Approximately 1 1/2 latte boxes of bone and teeth fragments found.  Approximately 18 fragments of bronze or bronze with slag found which were made
