Excavation continued in locus 5.  Pick pass was started in the western end of the trench.  A stone (approx. 25 x 20 x 10 cm.) located at 191.5-E/49.5-S and 27.55 m. above absolute elevation was removed.  Three special finds were made this morning.

Excavation continued in locus 5.  The pick pass started this morning was completed.  A stone (approx. 25 x 20 x 7 cm.) located at 189.2-E/50.8-S and 27.51 m. above absolute elevation was removed.  The trench was leveled.  Today, approximately 2 1/2 bowls of terracotta fragments were recovered along with some plaster.  Approximately 2 1/2 latte boxes of pottery sherds (mostly impasto) found along with approximately 2 latte boxes of bone and teeth fragments.  Balk trim was carried out.  Approximately 1/5 bowl of terracotta frgments was recovered along with 9 pottery sherds and 7 bone fragments during this operation.
