June 12 - Saturday - supervised by Ingrid E. Jantz
Excavations of trench continued with thye removal of the wheelbarrow ramp, i.e. the remaining section of layer B - from this were found - 1 )one piece of sima cornice - G - 15, sent down 2 strawberry cartons of sherds - Tiles Dumped - 1 Box
Excavation of stratum C continued - this layer consisted of black soil with specks of carbon, and was most noticeable in grids G-I 13-15, while the blade was almost non-existent in the area around the stone complex - the soil just above the stones being a fine- medium dark brown soil with few artifacts (sherds) in it. Sent down 1 full box of "scrappy " sherds. 1 plastic bag of bones - Tiles Dumped - 2 Boxes
Galestra appeared in grids G-K 11 and I-K 12 - stone complex began to appear in grids I 13-14
