Two cuts were made to deepen the meters running along the northern and eastern baulks. No tile was found. One piece of pottery. Soil is increasingly yellow in color. The northern baulk at A/4 is c. 62 m; at A/3 54 cm; at A/2 45 cm and A/1 32 cm. A/0 25 cm
The eastern baulk at A/4 is 62 cm, B/4 is 52 cm, C/4 33, D/4 18.
Due to sterile soil, this trench is finished and another test trench will be started this afternoon. This trench will be left alone to dry out a bit before section drawings are made of the baulks in the near future.

A new area was prepared for excavation. This area is farther up the hill and lies to the west of CB-20 excavated by Jon Berkin in 1988. Brush was cleaned and grass was removed. A 3x4 meter trench was set up using the points of the compass to determine the grid. West to east coordinates are numerical, north to south are alphabetical. Topsoil was removed from the hatched area in the diagram. Soil was hard-packed and light brown in color. Nothing was found.
