Total vitrified terracotta: 2 fragments

Total weight of vitrified terracotta: 5 grams

Very little vitrified terracotta was found in T 59 in 2014. All examples of vitrified terracotta came from topsoil loci, Locus 1 and Locus 2 . This is curious, as most of the bone recovered from contextualized loci, Loci 4 - 7 , was burnt; therefore, one might expect to find more evidence of heated artifacts in these loci.
