Pick passes continued from the southern portion of T-70 not excavated yesterday, using the big pick. Two more pick passes were completed in the north whilst the northern baulk wall was trimmed.
In the southern meter the rock which was partially visible yesterday, has been further revealed and its borders defined. It is now clear that it is a continuation fo the large rock in the northern portion of T-69. The stump next to the rock in the south was defined, showing that it is partially on the rock, but predominantly located directly to the north east of the rock's upper border. Very few finds have been unearthed; some fragments of terracotta and one piece of bone.

Pick passes continue in the north, as well as around the stump in the south. A root system just north of the stump was exposed and subsequently removed. Baulk walls were trimmed and a pick pass conducted in the southern portion, immediately north of the large rock.
Very few finds have been appearing; some terracotta and pottery. The soil is still topsoil containing roots and plant matter in a dark brown compacted soil. It also contains light brown clay in areas, particularly to the north and the west. The soil is becoming less compacted.
