More work was done piling up tile from the burn area. Only a few large fragments were left protruding from the bulk. A burned plaster layer was excavated under tile but still over the greasy black layer associated more with the rock fill level. Very little was found in this plaster. Bone and pottery continued to be found in the black burn beneath this. Pottery and bone was both burned abd unburned. A heavily blackened pan tile was lifted from above this layer. In fragmentary condition it nonetheless showed no real warping or vitrification. More work was also done in finding joins.
