A section was drawn running from the west bulk at MN/77 to the column base in QR/77. This was designed to show the relationship between the tile fall and its surrounding stratigraphy (seen on the bulk) with the floor and north line of column bases.

More work was done lifting tiles in LMN/80-81. In N/80-81 several large pan tiles were lifted. Underneath was found heavy burned plaster over the top of the rock fill burn layer. Small fragments of burned tiles, bone and pottery were found. In the burn layer in M/80-81 a decorated pithos handle was found in two fragments. A couple of other pithos pithos fragments were found including a rim fragment whihc may or may not be part of the same vessel (see finds).

Pan tile and cover tile fragments have been found both right side up and upside down. It these particualr meters fragments of cover tiles showinf burn were found underneath the larger pieces of pan tile. Many of these pan tile fragments , as throughout the fall, have been lying more or less flush on level with the floor.

Several more tiles with letters were found. One, with amny joining fragments, was taken down (see finds). Additionally, a number of tiles with finger marks were also found. These will be brought down after joins are found.
