Tiles in L/83 were lifted revealing a nearly complete cover tile. A nice conical base and a coarseware lip wer found below the tiles, as well. Throughout the area small stones protrude w/ black, burned soil above them (and below the tiles. Als found under the L-M/82 tile was a base fragment of a coarseware pot.
J/82-83 were taken down to 85 cm below surface. Much tile was encountered at this level, but the pieces are generally quite small. One coarseware handle w/ decoration came out of J/83. This cut proceeded into J/84. Over 1 1/2 latte boxes of pottery were found. Six and a half cassette of tile were dumped.
