Some more medium sized rocks are appearing in the northeast corner along the same linear feature in CA-70 . An increasing amount of bronze is also being recovered in this area. More material is uncovered as the trench becomes level with CA-70 .

Since there have been 5 bronze finds, we will now be bulk finding bronze. There are two possible linear features of rocks parallel to each other running along both the western and eastern walls. They are made up of medium sized rocks with small pieces of terracotta in between. Work was focused on defining the rocks and scraping the trench to the same level as CA-70 .

After closing elevations were taken, the new CA-81 extension was strung off and cleared. The extension will be a 2 x 2 meter trench

directly to the east of the existing trench.
