A 10-13 cm cut was initiated in meters T-U-V/56, taking these meters from 45 cm down to 55-57 cm from the ground level. (Closest relative groundline picchetto that is as yet unexcavated in T/53.) The cut in T does not include a full meter since T is the shared meter between this T-26 trench and the T-22 extension taken by M. Wilcox in 198X.

A second cut was taken in T-U-V/56, bringing the area down to a level 68-70 cm from the relative ground level. Including pottery from the initial cut, only about 1/2 a latte box was found. The pottery included bucchero, impasto and orangeware. The soil in both cuts is lighter brown with a golden/orange cast and large pockets of schyst in U/56. The total amount of plaster and tile fragments was about 1/5 of a cassette.
