tile = 1 cassetta

pottery = 1 1/3 latte

Extended 5 cm (50-55 cm b.s.) cut from M-O/71 to M-O/69.  Soil is similar to that reported yesterday, butwith less charcoal, and less ashen in color as you move through M-O/69.  Tile was evenly spread but with more fragment appearance in M/69.  All tile still worn and small fragmetns.  Pottery continues as before.

Note to 6/14/89: greyish cast to soil may also be partially due to decomposed stone from lens mentioned NM II, pp.21 & pp.25 .
