STRATEGY: 1. Complete removal of 1220. 2. Continue removal of spits under 1220 and if possible level off the excavated area. 3. Clarify transition of lots under base of wall exposed in 1996 ie f 68.
SUMMARY: 1. We completely removal of 1220. It was an homogenous wash overlying wall of f 68. 2. Spit under 1220 was given lot number 1221. 1221 is the same loose brown fill as 1220. 3. 1221 proved to overlie a wall orientated east-west and in the North end of Op.1. The wall was given f 85 - later confirmed to be a continuation of wall f 66. Excavation is currently incomplete but it seems to have a doorway mid-length.
