A pick pass was done in the northern meter of the trench. Shovels continued to be used to remove dirt. The buckets of soil were sorted at the wheelbarrow. Another pick pass was done in the next meter south (50-51 S). Soil was shoveled and sorted. Worn tile was recovered, along with worn fragments of pottery. A piece of medieval tile was also recovered. While sorting buckets the head of an iron nail was recovered (SF #1).

Another pick pass was done between 51 and 52 S. Worn terracotta and rocks were recovered. A piece of statue fragment was found (SF #2). Another pick pass was done in the southern meter of the trench. Soil was shoveled and sorted at the wheelbarrow. The northern half of the trench was picked again, more terracotta was recovered. The southern half of the trench was picked again, roots were clipped again.
Soil was shoveled into buckets and sorted at the wheelbarrow. Worn terracotta and small stones were recovered.

Picking began again in the northern meter. Soil was removed by shovel and sifted at the wheelbarrow. Worn terracotta and rocks were found. Another pick pass was done in the next two meters south. Soil was shoveled and sorted in the wheelbarrow. A bronze pin was found (SF #5).

The ridge between CB 54 and 57 was picked to level it with the rest of the trench. Soil was shoveled and sorted at the wheelbarrow. The northern meter was picked again. Worn terracotta was found. Soil was shoveled. The root system from the stump along the northern baulk was removed. While cleaning up the soil a rounded stone was found (SF #6).

The next meter south was picked. Soil was removed via shovels and examined at the wheelbarrows. The 3rd meter south was picked (51-52 S). Terracotta and rocks were unearthed. The soil remains the same yellow-brown remains throughout the trench. The north baulk wall was trimmed. Terracotta recovered was counted in locus 5 since the wall had been trimmed of locus 1-4 soil already. A rochetto fragment was recovered in the trim (SF #7).
