A pick pass was done in the eastern meter of the L. There appears to be fewer stones in the clay, the soil has become less gray and more brown. Small eroded pieces of terracotta are being found. The southern meter was picked. This area continues to produce small rocks. The brownish clay-like soil continues across the locus. A small iron tack was found when cleaning up this pass (SF #1). Soil was sorted into buckets and dumped. Tile, eroded pottery and a tooth was recovered. The locus was scraped and high points lowered. While sorting soil, the shaft of an iron tack was found (SF #2).
