Locus 5 closing photos taken.  Closing elevations for Locus 5 and opening elevations for Locus 6 were taken.  13 points were taken in order to track the slope of the surface of the next locus.  Elevations are:

After elevations were taken, a pick pass was begun in the northeast corner of the trench.  The soil remains mottled with high concentrations of plaster, although it's color is much darker.  Some large pieces of tile were found at approximately the same depth as the tile fall in the southern portion of the trench, thus indicating a possible continuation of the fall.  A double cylindrical handle, possibly belonging to an oinoikoi, was found ( Find #1 ).  After the soil was sorted into buckets, the southwest part of the trench was picked and the darker soil was revealed, underneath the rocks which had been lifted during the

pick pass.  A carbonized seed was found there ( Find #2 ).

The remainder of the soil from the morning's pick pass was sorted and cleaned.  Then a pick pass was done in the eastern part of the trench, revealing the darker soil and a few more tiles at approximately the same elevation.
