Metals Summary and Analysis

Locus Metal Finds
1 1
2 10
Baulk Trim 3
Total 14

Relatively little metal was recovered from T 79 in 2015 and most of the metal found were small bronze flakes, which came from locus 2 , a contextualized stratum containing the linear rock feature and floor surfaces.

From the topsoil, which is locus 1 , only one rectangular bronze fragment was recovered. The bulk of the metal finds were recovered from locus 2 , a contextualized deposit, which consisted of seven bronze flakes, and unidentifiable bronze fragments. The remaining metal was recovered from the baulk trim, which consisted of an iron tack, a rectangular iron fragment, and two unidentifiable bronze fragments.

None of the metal finds recovered from T 79 were catalogued in 2015.
