Slag Summary and Analysis

Slag Summary and Analysis

Locus Number of Fragments Weight of Fragments (g)
1 0 0
2 1 1
Baulk Trim 0 0
Total 1 fragment 1 gram

Only one fragment of slag was recovered from T 79 in 2015. The slag fragment was recovered from northeast of the linear rock feature in locus 2 , which is within a contextualized deposit. Thus, there was little indication of metal production in T 79. No slag was recovered from locus 1 or the baulk trim.

It should be noted that one fragment originally identified in the baulk trim as slag was determined to be non-metallic.
