Relatively little bone was recovered from T 79 in 2015, all of which was animal bone.
Locus 1 , which is redeposited fill, yielded one non-diagnostic bone fragment.
Locus 2 yielded the majority of all bone in T 79, with 57 fragments, or 80.28% of the overall bone assemblage. While most of the bone was unidentifiable or non-diagnostic, some bone recovered from this locus was worked and two fragments of burnt bone. Furthermore, two fragments of diagnostic bone were recovered from just north of the linear rock feature, one of which was a jaw bone preserving teeth attached. The majority of bone recovered from T 79 was found northeast of the linear rock feature in this locus.
A few fragments of bone were recovered from the baulk trim, with 13 fragments, or 18.31% of the overall bone assemblage. None of the bone recovered was worked or butchered.
No bone from T 79 was catalogued in 2015.
