Condition Surfaces are pitted, worn, and encrusted. Large inclusions are visible throughout the fabric. The piece is comprised of two fragments joined during conservation. One fill was added during conservation to support the joins.
Fabric Description Terracotta
Munsell Color 2.5 YR 6/8 light red
Description Fragment A preserves the finished top edge, the finished proper right edge, seven complete strigils, one complete nail hole, seven complete dentils, and the top of the head and the staff of the furthest proper left figure, and the head and the top of the lituus from the second figure from the proper left Fragment B preserves three complete strigls, one partial strigil, three complete dentils, and one small piece of the lituus. Fragment C preserves the knees of the seated figure on fragment A Fragment D preserves the lap and part of the raised arm of the figure from fragment A
