Condition | Surfaces are pitted, worn, and encrusted. Large inclusions are visible throughout the fabric. The piece is comprised of seven fragments rejoined during conservation. There is an older abrasion on the bottom corner of the proper left finished edge. |

Description | Lateral sima fragment preserves portions of the cavetto, the feline water spout, the rosette backer, the back extension, and the proper left raised edge. The cavetto preserves six complete strigils, and three partial strigils. The strigils are curved to hang over the feline water spout and the rosette. The rosette is not preserved but the backer is still attached. The feline water spout preserves the ears, eyes, nose, and top part of the mouth opening. The lower jaw and struts are missing. The full opening to the back extension is preserved. |
