Condition Surfaces are pitted, worn, and encrusted. Large inclusions are visible throughout the fabric. The piece is comprised of four fragments that were joined during conservation. There are fresh abrasions along the break edges from modern excavation methods.
Fabric Description Terracotta
Description Fragment A preserves four partial striglils, portions of the top finished edge, and patches of red paint. Fragment B preserves three partial strigils, red paint between the strigils, and a small portion of the plaque. Fragment C preserves seven partial strigils, very small amounts of red paint in between a few of the strigils, portions of the plaque, and a portion of the finished top edge. There is fresh abrasion at the top of the proper left corner. The plaque surface is worn with gouges, possibly attachment scars.
