Description | Italo-Corinthian aryballos body and shoulder fragment preserves painted decoration consisting of a partial horizontal orange band. Immediately below the orange band are five intact and possibly four partial petals. Directly under the petals is a band of red slip, approx. 0.023 m wide. An indistinguishable amount of diagonal lines (approx. 0.011 m long) radiate from the red band and into a black band, approx. 0.023 m wide. Approx. 0.016 m below the black band is a partial horizontal band of black slip. |
