Description Fragment of fine impasto orangeware, nearly trapezoidal, is preserved. Finished rim edge slightly curved. Fragment is convex and gently sloping toward the edge. On the exterior of the lid are two ridges 0.007m from the edge measuring 0.002m in width. Stamped starburst decorations are preserved in two full registers and are present in a third which is incomplete. The registers are 0.011m in width. Each starburst has a 0.006m diameter and the starbursts are 0.001m apart. The first register has eight full and two partial starbursts. The second register has six full and one partial starbust. The third register has one full and three partial starbursts. Between each starburst register are two shallow incised lines 0.001m apart. The interior of the fragment is smooth and several finger rings are preserved. The flange is 0.009m from the edge.
