Excavation continued in locus 2 .  The last of the stumps was eliminated.  Approximately two bowls (24 cm. in diameter, 7 cm. in depth) of terracotta fragments were recovered.  Eighteen fragments of bone and teeth were found.  Forty-seven pottery sherds were found (Impasto body:  34, Impasto rim:  6, Impasto handle:  4, Fine Impasto body:  3).  The trench was lowered approximately 10 cm.  An impasto tondo with an incision was recovered (Special Find #1).
