June 11, 1969

The second layer was taken off in the western part of the section. More natural rock appeared and topsoil was taken off also at the dike. The remaining dike had a width of ca. 1.50 m. Some coarse pottery was found, and 1 box of small tile fragments. Due to rain work was stopped in the afternoon.
