Description Locus 6 is defined as the rock packing and surrounding soil at the bottom of the feature excavated through Loci 4 and 5. It is characterised by a layer of fist sized rocks at the bottom of the pit feature, and by a yellow, sterile soil into which these were embedded and which became more obvious once they were removed. Locus 6 became very narrow, so the closing co-ordinate is taken from the central point at the very bottom of the feature.
