Description | The soil of Locus 37 consists of a Weak Red (Munsell 10 YR 5/2) ash. This layer stretched from the southernmost point on the wall to the northern edge of the South Doorway. It borders the initial destruction layer in the south. The soil contained few fragments of pottery, except for thousands of roof, floor and canalization tiles, which had been plastered on all sides. |
