Description | This overburden layer is Light Brown (Munsell 7.5 YR 6/4), coarse, loose, sandy, and includes the area adjacent to Locus 28. The soil contains small amounts of burnt residue, charcoal and pottery. Approximately 0.46 m below the surface, two bone deposits were uncovered. The soil contained column drums, as well as a medium amount of large hewn and unhewn stones. |
