Condition All surfaces are pitted, worn, scratched, and encrusted. On the exterior surface there is an area of lighter brown color in the ceramic.
Description A convex body fragment of an impasto vessel has a shallow curve up to the widest break edge, where it increases in thickness and curvature, approaching a point of carination. Near this edge on the exterior surface is a slighly recessed area, creating two shallow ridges. The interior surface also is very shallowly, horizontally ridged.
