Description | An amorphous and irregular terracotta object which likely served as an industrial terracotta waster. The smoothest face is slightly convex and seems to preserve a palm impression. The opposite face is more irregular, having a protruding bulb but also a deeper impression and several other depressions. Both roughly perpendicular faces also are highly irregular including protrusions and depressions. In one perpendicular profile it can be seen that this terracotta object was likely originally a portion of a cover tile folded over and reused as a waster. |
