Description | This late wall blocks the East Walkway in the south. We have designated this wall as the South Walkway Wall. It is perpendicular, and attached to the southernmost points of the East Corridor (Locus 28) and East Walkway Wall. The wall is two courses high. Its measurements are 3.66 m east west on the north and 4.12 m east west on the south . The wall is built above destruction and fluvial layers. The roughly hewn limestone blocks which compose the wall are approximately 0.62 m-by-0.28 m. The construction of this wall appears similar to that of the adjacent portion of the East Walkway Wall. |
