Description | Locus 14 is the salient of grey soil in the northern area in the western half of the trench. It is the area described as the chalky while soil in page 135. The soil of locus 14 is analogous to the soil of both locus 11 and 13. It is a flakey soil that crumbles easily. It is a pale grey that also can appear to have shades of blue in it. There is no material in this locus. |
