Condition Broken across bottom side; all surfaces very worn.
Description Fragment possibly preserves top, pointed section of terracotta sombrero-like hat present on some statue heads: piece is almost cylindrical solid section of terracotta, slightly tapered toward top, finished edge, top of which is slightly domed; bottom, broken section apparently attached to a further cylindrical or truncated conical section, which in turn attached to the wide brim of hat.
