Condition | Broken on three sides; reconstructed from five fragments. One other fragment is thought to be associated. The surface is well preserved, and portions of slip are preserved on the upper surface of the tile. |
Description | Fragment of a pan tile with an unusually thick flange preserves portions of one finished end, broken at the notch for interlocking. The interior, upper edge of the flange is somewhat rounded. On the exterior of the flange, near the lower surface, there is a low irregular ridge running the length of the piece. The lower surface is unfinished. |
