Description | A stratum of fine silt, sand, and small pebbles compacted around the Locus 3 collapse elements, and overlying the Locus 2 stone platform. The Munsell Color was 7.5 YR 4/4 (Brown). A selection of pottery, bone, and metal were recovered, along with a single stone tessera. This locus is the result of sedimentation processes, and represents the remainder of the deposit originally excavated as Trench 69/SP 70 during the 2000 season. It is assigned to Stage 4 because it was deposited after the Stage 3 collapse event(s). |
