Description | A platform constructed from a single course of flat, hewn stones of different sizes set in a coarse wet mortar. It was laid to abut the north face of wall Locus 4. The exact dimensions of its original configuration could not be determined due to its partial destruction as the result of one or more collapse events; however, there were some indications that its east west length spanned a greater portion of the W CP East entrance than it does at present. The platform appears to have been centered on the entranceway of the West Cryptoporticus East. |
