Description | This locus is defined as the top 0.15 m. of the fill deposit lying at a lower level than the West Cryptoporticus East floor level (Locus 25) in a 2.60 m north south-by-4.30 m east west section of robbed-out pavers. The fill consisted of compacted silt and sand of a fine texture that was as moist as Locus 22. Its Munsell Color range was around 7.5 YR 5/3-5/4 Brown. A small amount of pottery, bone, metal and vegetal remains were found. |
