Description

An extremely compact layer of plaster. The locus was rectangular measuring 0.75 m x 0.25 m and flat. The compacted plaster formed a surface. The surface was level at the top and extremely compact. Sounding through the surface during excavation evidenced its density. Plaster floor which functioned as the working surface of the workshop.
